Over 15 years of experience working in community mental health and over a decade of experience developing curriculum and training therapists in:

• Trauma responsive assessments, interventions, and treatment planning

• Harm reduction with substances and other risky behaviors

• Deconstructing personality disorder labels

My approach to supervision is based on collaboration and social justice.

• Collaboration – Let’s decide what is needed together, e.g. case conceptualization, treatment planning, crisis management, theory education, client advocacy, etc.

• Social justice – Everything is political. There is no neutral. Let’s be honest with ourselves and each other about the values we hold and what we stand up for. I am personally guided by my commitment to equity, transparency, respect, and the inclusion of diverse identities, perspectives, experiences, cultures, and communities.
